TWO PEOPLE INJURED IN SANDGATE CRASH

Two people have been taken to hospital after a head-on collision at Sandgate in the early hours of the morning.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of the Inner City Bypass and Maitland Road at around 5:40am.

Bystanders helped to free one passenger.

Two men, aged in their 30s and 60s, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
