The Hunter New England Health district has recorded six new positive COVID cases overnight.
All of these were from the Hunter region itself.
They are as follows:
- A young female from the Maitland area, who’s linked to the Maitland Christian School closure
- A woman in her 20s from Newcastle who’s linked to the University of Newcastle cluster
- A man in his 30s from Toronto, who’s linked to the University of Newcastle cluster
- A man in his 20s from the Maitland area – the source of this infection is being investigated
- A man in his 40s from Medowie – the source of this infection is being investigated
- A man in his 40s from Newcastle – the source of this infection is being investigated
