11 TREES PLANTED FOR THE LIONS CLUB’S GROVE

All four of Tamworth’s Lions Clubs have come together to plant trees in remembrance of those before them.
They replace Red Gums, planted three decades ago, which have now outgrown their previous plot in Bicentennial Park.
A new grove of 11 was planted across the park today in honour of past club members.
“Well, it’s for forever really, it’s a memorial plot for lions, lions from Australia when they come here to Tamworth they look for this grove.”
