A former youth worker is facing court this morning, charged with historic child sex offences in the Hunter.
Strike Force Eiraban was set up in November last year to investigate allegations of offences against two teenage boys between 1990 and 2004 at Muswellbrook and Gateshead.
A 71-year-old man was arrested at Belmont police station yesterday morning.
He’s accused of 15 offences, including sexual intercourse with an underage person, aggravated indecent assault and supplying a prohibited drug.
The Marks Point man has been formally refused bail.
