LOCKDOWN EXTENDED FOR GREATER SYDNEY
New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian has extended lockdown to people in Greater Sydney for another four weeks.
It comes after the state recorded 177 COVID-19 cases overnight – 46 of those were infectious in the community.
Restrictions remain for regional areas, and won’t be tightened at this stage.
Meanwhile, people over the age of 18 are able to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine at pharmacies across the state from today.
