1 in 20 Australians lives with diabetes…
And while type one occurs when the pancreas cannot produce enough insulin…Central Coast residents are being urged to minimise their risk of type two this World Diabetes Day.
Ambassador for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Rob Palmer, says it’s all about lifestyle changes.
“Encourage people to make healthy lifestyle choices that might ultimately result in them avoiding something like typw two diabetes which can often be the result of poor diet, poor exercise choices and an overweight condition.” Rob Palmer – JDRF Ambassador
