GAV’S WEATHER | WET AND WINDY WINTER ROLLS ON
After a clear morning for most, cloud cover moved-in during the afternoon.
All of the weather action remains in the southern half of the country, as numerous weather systems continue to sweep-in off the Great Southern Ocean, affecting the SW and SE corners of the nation.
More snow is headed for the Alpine regions, bringing with it cold air, widespread showers and storms for Northern NSW.
There’ll be rain showers for the NW overnight, as well as snow flurries on the high ground of the northern ranges above 1200m.
Coastal showers are on their way to Newcastle, the Central Coast and Macquarie Coast tomorrow, along with strong SW winds.
