The old Tabulam bridge may have been dismantled, but its timber will be put to good use by community groups.
Some of it will be installed at the Casino and Tenterfield museums.
A section of truss will be used as part of a viewing platform on the eastern side of the river.
And signs will go up, explaining the bridge’s cultural significance to the local Aboriginal community.
