GAV’S WEATHER | INLAND RAIN WILL RETURN

While central northern Australia remains clear, numerous weather systems are sweeping in off the Great Southern Ocean.

The weather action in the south is making sure this winter remains a chilly one, with the biggest snow dump of the season on its way for the Alpine regions.

The coast will remain fine with some warm temperatures headed for the northern NSW coast and south-east QLD.

Meanwhile, wet weather will return to the North West and parts of the Greater Hunter region.
