There’s another contender for Bellingen Mayor.
Local sports administrator, Andrew Woodward, running for council’s top job as a Labor candidate.
He leads a ticket of four locals, and says there’s something missing in the shire.
“Not moving forward when it comes to economic matters, social matters and environmental matters so we’re campaigning on a theme of change and progress. Change that we need. Steady, sensible change and progress as well.”
Local government elections will be held on September 4.
