BOGGABILLA BRIGADE WELCOMES A NEW LOOK FOR A TRUCK THIS NAIDOC WEEK

A Bogabilla Brigade fire truck has received a makeover to mark NAIDOC week, displaying the talent of Kamilaroi artist Elenore Binge.

The artwork depicts fire trails, significant local sites, plants, and ashes to tie in into this year’s NAIDOC Week theme, ‘Heal Country.’

Ms. Binge says that her artworks shows how after the fire, smoke and ashes are gone the rebirth and healing begins.

A traditional smoking ceremony will be held to officially welcome the truck’s new eyecatching design.
