HUMPBACK WHALE AND CALF TRAVEL THROUGH BALLINA

Ballina locals have been given front row seats to a humpback whale and her calf swimming close to shore.
First spotted at the Ballina Bar late yesterday, the whales then travelled further down into the Richmond River.
ORRCA is reminding people that a 300-metre exclusion zone applies, and to report any sightings.
