SIRIUS BUILDING SALE FUNDING TWO SOCIAL HOUSING DWELLINGS IN OXLEY VALE

Tamworth will reap the benefits of the $150-million sale of Sydney’s Sirius Building.
Part of the cash will go towards two new social housing dwellings in Oxley Vale – in a much needed boost for local stock.
A total of 330 social housing buildings will be constructed across New South Wales with the profits.
The Sydney housing commission block was controversially sold in 2019 – to make way for luxury apartments.
