TAREE CAFES PLEASED WITH CUSTOMER COVID RESPONSE

Cafe and restaurant owners in Taree say the public has been very helpful in abiding by public health orders imposed by the state government.

Customers must sign in with a QR code and wear a mask indoors except when eating or drinking.

“All cooperating everyone’s going well and the town’s done well and cooperating pretty well with everything going pretty good,” Cafe Nosh Taree’s Joe Blackmoore said.

“People have been very accommodating and haven’t had anybody say anything untoward about it,” Metro Diner owner Jim Nossiter added.

It comes after an alleged assault sparked by a request to sign in at Forster’s Anatolia Turkish Cuisine last Monday.
