An elderly woman is recovering in hospital after being trampled by a cow, north of Tamworth.
Paramedics were called to a property at Watson’s Creek shortly after 3pm yesterday, where they found an 80-year-old woman with serious chest injuries.
She was treated at the scene before being airlifted to Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital in a stable condition.
