MAGPIES DEAD AFTER SUSPECTED POISONING

A warning has been issued to a Lake Macquarie community after the suspicious deaths of 14 magpies.

Wildlife rescuers fear the birds may have been poisoned and have alerted authorities, as they focus on nursing two survivors back to health.
