VISITOR INFORMATION CENTRES CLOSED DUE TO COVID SCARE

COVID concerns have forced Visitor Information Centres in the New England to close their doors.

Tamworth Regional Council made the decision to temporarily shut down its Tamworth centre, amid fears people from hotspots have visited the facility.

Nundle and Manilla have also closed as a precaution.

Brochure stands have been moved outdoors and phones diverted across the sites.

The facilities will be closed until the end of next week, along with the National Guitar Museum and the Gallery of Stars Wax Museum.
