NSW BUDGET OUTCOMES FOR THE MYALL LAKES

The Mid North Coast continues to crunch the numbers from yesterday’s state budget – with a local MP welcoming an $8.6 million spend for Stage 2 of Manning Base Hospital’s redevelopment.
Planning for a public hospital at Forster was also mentioned – but without a dollar value.
Funds were also allocated to Taree Railway Station, the Northern Gateway project at Cundletown and local roads.
“There’s so much in it for education, public housing, this is a budget that overall delivers for regional New South Wales and delivers for Myall Lakes,” State Member for Myall Lakes Stephen Bromhead said.
