PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH LOOKS TO SELL AGED CARE FACILITIES IN NEWCASTLE AND CENTRAL COAST

Hundreds of aged care residents and staff face an uncertain future, after the Presbyterian Church announced it’s selling its facilities at Stockton and East Gosford.
The sites are expected to be sold off over the coming six-months, to allow residents at both facilities have enough time to relocate.
“The difficulty we’re having now as a church, is that we simply don’t have the resources to support the facilities.” – Jeof Falls, Presbyterian Church NSW CEO.
The Church is calling for larger aged care providers to purchase the sites.
