TWO ARMIDALE LOCALS RECOGNISED WITH ROTARY AWARDS

Two Armidale locals have been recognised for their roles in developing a school based leadership program.

Duval High School teacher Lynette Rajaratnam (RAH-JAR-RAT-NAM) and student Deb Hyde have both received Rotary awards after developing the school’s Interact Club.

Deb Hyde has been the president of the club since it began in May last year.

Ms Hyde will step down from her position to focus on her Higher School Certificate exams.
