GOLD COAST GELDING ‘POTRO DURO’ CLAIMS THE CASINO BEEF WEEK CUP

Race favourite, Potro Duro, has claimed a narrow win in the Casino Beef Week Cup this afternoon.

The five-year-old Gold Coast gelding had won five of his 20 starts for Toby and Trent Edmonds.

The grey was ridden to victory by young apprentice, Zac Lloyd.

Owen Glue’s ‘At Witz End’ secured second, ahead of Stephen Lee’s ‘Pleased’.
