After a difficult period with the Bulldogs, Marcelo Montoya considered giving rugby league away, now he’s starring for The Warriors.
His second try against the Wests Tigers last Friday came off a miraculous pass from 18 year-old young gun Reece Walsh.
“Oh mate that was like I spoke to him after the game and I just told him that was freakish.”
It was announced last week that the team will stay on the Central Coast for the remainder of the season.
Montoya says they’ll take it in their stride.
They now face The Cowboys in Townsville Friday night.
