HUNDREDS OF STUDENTS ATTEND CLIMATE RALLY IN BYRON BAY

Byron Bay’s streets were filled this morning with young climate protesters.

Hundreds of school kids marched from the recreation grounds, under police escort, to Main Beach via Johnson Street.

Event organiser, Mia Thom, said they will not stop protesting until emissions are down to zero.

An event was also held at Lismore’s Environment Centre.
