RENEWABLE & NUCLEAR ENERGY BACKED IN BARNABY JOYCE’S SURVEY

There’s enduring support for nuclear energy within the community, according to a recent survey organised by Barnaby Joyce.

While 36 percent of respondents backed renewables, 34 percent were in favour of nuclear power.

“The results of the survey clearly show that it remains a contentious issue about the mix of power. One thing I found really pleasing was the support for Nuclear which is about a third. And I think this gives us an avenue for zero emission baseline power,”says New England MP, Barnaby Joyce.

More than 3000 people took part in the survey.
