LEARNER DRIVER AND SUPERVISOR CAUGHT HIGH-RANGE DRINK-DRIVING

A learner driver and her supervisor have had their licences suspended after they were allegedly caught high-range drink-driving on the Central Coast overnight.

Police discovered the pair travelling in a Ford Ranger Ute driving with no headlights, just before midnight.

The 54-year-old female learner driver and the fully licensed 60-year-old man were subjected to a roadside breath test and both returned a positive result.

They were arrested and taken to Wyong Police Station.

The woman allegedly returned a reading of 0.183.

The man allegedly returned a reading of 0.162.

Both will appear at Wyong Local Court on Monday June 28.
