COUNCIL AWARDS CONTRACT FOR $32.5-MILLION QUIPOLLY DAM PROJECT

Liverpool Plains Shire Council has finally awarded a contract for its multi-million dollar Quipolly Dam Project.
Gongues Constructions is tasked with building a pipeline and treatment plant, to deliver high-quality drinking water to Werris Creek, Quirindi and Willow Tree residents.
Construction is expected to start within six months, creating up to 80 jobs.
All three tiers of government have contributed funding to the project.
