NORTH COAST VACCINE ROLLOUT REACHES 50,000 MILESTONE

The Covid vaccine rollout on the North Coast has passed a milestone this week, with more than 50,000 residents receiving the jab.

Health officials say it’s terrific to see vaccination numbers going up, but concede, there is still a long way to go.

Almost 52,000 people have received the AstraZeneca jab, with Pfizer doses reserved for aged care residents and frontline health workers at this stage.
