STRUGGLING CHILDCARE CENTRES TO GET A MONETARY BOOST

10 struggling childcare facilities in the Northern Rivers will now be able to share in $50,000 of Federal Government funding.
Each nominated centre will receive $5,000 to develop resources and facilities to ensure they are in line with the national quality framework standards, set by the Australian Government.
“They can increase their play area. they can buy educational equipment, they can provide extra training for staff.”
The funding is also expected to improve the staff to children ratios.
Centres in Casino, Evans Head and Kyogle are among the beneficiaries.
