A man has been issued an infringement notice over an alleged spitting incident at Newcastle last week.
The 38-year-old allegedly spat on the footpath outside Newcastle Local Court on Hunter Street, last Friday, May 7.
Following police inquiries, a man today attended Waratah Police Station.
He was issued with a criminal infringement notice for offensive conduct.
