$6m TAFE FACILITY EARMARKED FOR BYRON’S INDUSTRIAL PRECINCT

TAFE New South Wales is hoping to receive Byron Shire Council’s stamp of approval to transform part of this vacant land into a multi-million-dollar educational facility.
The 5.8 hectare council-owned property is off Bayshore Drive.
Council says rather than selling the land to the highest bidder, it’s hoping to partner with organisations to see roughly half the block developed into a mixed-use precinct.
In its application, TAFE estimates, construction would cost in excess of $6m.
