It’s mostly clear across the nation today, but cloud cover is beginning to increase over the Northern Rivers.

The front passing the SW is well defined, while a large high has stalled in the Tasman.

As the high slowly slides East, onshore winds will build cloud cover across Northern NSW and SE QLD, triggering increased shower activity as the coastal trough deepens over the weekend.

The wet weather won’t be as frequent for the Greater Hunter and the North West will remain dry
