Merewether surfer Ryan Callinan is about to make his return to the world qualifying series at an event in South Africa.
He’s automatically into the second round at the 10,000-point Ballito Pro.
It’s the first competition for the goofy-footer since the passing of his mother, in May.
Meanwhile, fellow Merewether boardrider Jackson Baker just missed out on a spot at the same event.
He’ll now head to Japan to compete, later this month.
