BLIMP VISITS COFFS COAST ON WAY TO BRISBANE

You may have noticed a rather large object floating over the Coffs Coast in recent days.
The largest airship currently flying in the southern hemisphere has been buzzing around the area, promoting an on-line retailer.
With 2 pilots alternating at the controls and 13 ground crew, the blimp is on a trip from its home base in Melbourne to Brisbane.
“It’s a fair weather aircraft, so we’re coming north to Brisbane for the winter, which we all appreciate – better being up here than down in Melbourne for the winter,” said Chief Pilot Mark Finney.
The airship’s next port of call will be Evans Head.
