250 STUDENTS DESCEND ON THE ARMIDALE SCHOOL FOR STATE FOOTBALL TRIALS
Some of the state’s best up-and-coming football players were put to the test at The Armidale School yesterday.
250 students from seven schools were trialled by the North Coast Independent Schools Sporting Association.
They were each vying for a chance to represent the region at the Combined Independent Schools’ Championships in Sydney next month.
Coffs Harbour’s Bishop Druitt College took out the open girls trial, while Tweed Heads’ Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School dominated the boys.
Other participants included Kempsey Adventist School and Lismore’s Living School.
