A truck driver has avoided serious injury, after crashing through a guard rail and down an embankment on the Central Coast, his semi-trailer bursting into flames on impact.
Emergency services were called to the M1 at Mount White at around 1.30am, to find the vehicle and surrounding bushland on fire.
The driver had managed to escape prior to their arrival, with minor injuries.
Traffic was heavy and there were significant delays, as crews worked to bring the fire under control and mop up a diesel and oil spill.
