A 16-year-old boy has sustained serious abdominal injuries after being hit by a car in Barraba overnight.
Emergency services were called to a rural property around 1 AM, they treated the teenager before transporting him to Barraba Hospital where the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was waiting.
He was stabilised and flown direct to Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital.
