Despite Waterfall Way having reopened, damage to the Oxley Highway could take weeks to restore.
70 landslips have occurred along the major road during recent wet weather.
Transport New South Wales says it has 30 to 40 workers onsite each day, helping to clear rocks and fallen trees.
A set date for the highway’s reopening is yet to be given.
