NSW RFS DESCRIBE FIRE SEASON AS “QUIETEST” IN 10+ YEARS

The fire season in New South Wales has concluded in what the Rural Fire Service has described as its quietest in more than a decade.

There was just 11 days of total fire bans, with the first of the season being issued for the Far North Coast on September 25.

The Service says hazard reduction burns will begin when weather conditions are suitable.
