FISHING LADDERS INSTALLED ACROSS NSW AND QUEENSLAND

$57 million is going to be spent installing fish ladders to provide river access in New South Wales and up into Queensland.
The ladders will help improve access for native fish to more than 2000 kilometres of habitat.
Ten of the 22 structures will be built in the border regions, including the Macintyre and Dumaresq rivers.
The funding, provided by the Northern Basin Toolkit, isn’t only benefiting the native fish but is also expected to create an economic stimulus.
