EVACUTION WARNINGS, SUPPLIES DELIVERED AND CLEAN UP BEGINS IN FLOOD AFFECTED TOWNS

A number of towns across New South Wales are still affected by floodwater.
Some residents remain completely isolated, as supplies are dropped off and the clean up begins.
NBN News has a number of crews on the ground in these areas.

Northern Region
Reporter Georgia Schefe in Lismore:
“The pumps are activated at Maclean, emptying water from roads into the Clarence River. The river level here has also risen much more since yesterday.”
EVACUATION WARNING: The Clarence River at Tabulam is currently at a height of 10.54 metres and rising. @NSWSES is advising residents in low lying areas in the vicinity of these locations that they may need to evacuate due to rising flood water @nbnnews

“Ray was holidaying in Yamba with his caravan, but had to leave town to take his wife to the airport. Now, he can’t get back in. His caravan is stranded. So, he’s going to sit it out. “Got nowhere else to be, but an eski and some spag bol in the ute, so I’ll be right”
