A dozen Northern Rivers SES personnel have made their way down the coast overnight to assist with the response to the wild weather.
Members from Lismore, Ballina, Tweed Heads and Murwillumbah will be focusing on the hardest hit areas in the Mid-North Coast as well as the Hunter.
The crews included six Flood Rescue Technicians and Flood Boat Operators.
