Armidale Regional Airport is, slowly returning to its pre-covid flight schedule, with QANTAS now servicing 19 flights per week.
It means passengers can now fly to, and return from, Sydney in the same day.
A 6.30am departure flight and 8.10am arrival have been added to the schedule – along with a 5pm afternoon flight.
The changes are expected to open up the region to business visitors – and hopefully bring an economic boost.
