MINOR FLOODING ON CENTRAL COAST

Heavy rainfall continued further south on the Central Coast, as parts of the region experienced minor flooding.

In Gosford, cars were making a splash – while water covered the surface of the M1 motorway.

Road closures were in place at Ourimbah, turning students away from the university campus throughout the day.

Rain is expected to continue over the coming days, with drivers urged motorists to proceed slowly on the wet roads.
