Northern Rivers News
MORE RAIN ON ITS WAY, AND NOT STOPPING ANY TIME SOON
The Northern Rivers is in for another wet week.
Heavy falls are predicted from tomorrow through to at least Sunday, with the possibility of thunderstorms that could bring flash flooding.
“We do need to be mindful of riverine flooding through there as well, but then again, the catchments all down the coast are already quite saturated so it might only just take a little thunderstorm for anything more problematic than that,” Meteorologist with the Bureau of Meteorology, Helen Reid, said.
The SES is also on alert, and urging residents to be prepared.
Gavin Morris will have more on your local weather forecast later.
