CALROSSY TAKES ON THE WORLD’S GREATEST SHAVE

Calrossy Anglican School students donned some wild hairstyles today, from bowl cuts to forehead moustaches.

But the fashions were short-lived, as more than 30 boys went under the clippers to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation.

While one very brave Year 10 student gave up her locks, as a tribute to her late grandfather.

“So my grandfather died of cancer a few years back and I have always wanted to shave my head, my brothers did it just before he died but I never got to do it so this is for him I guess. So, yeah, I am going to shave my head for my grandfather.”

Fundraising up until the last moment, students were able to raise well over $20,000 for the cause.
