A person working in two of Sydney’s quarantine hotels has contracted COVID-19.
New South Wales Health was notified last night and will count the case in tomorrow’s statistics.
This is the state’s first locally acquired case in 55 days.
An additional three overseas acquired cases have been recorded overnight.
This brings the total number of cases in NSW since the beginning of the pandemic to 5,048.
