A driver’s had a terrifying encounter on the Central Coast returning from a shopping trip at Chittaway Bay was confronted by a man holding a large rock, who then threatened him.
“Please. F****** drive off now, I’ll give you a chance. I’ve got a gun in my pocket.”
A window of the car was then smashed – the driver managed to take off uninjured.
The man also allegedly threw the rock at a police van as he was arrested.
The 33-year-old from Cessnock was charged with three offences and will face Wyong Court tomorrow.
