TAMWORTH PROSTATE SUPPORT GROUP GIFTS $8,000 DONATION TO CANCER COUNCIL

A service transporting cancer patients to their treatment will continue in Tamworth, thanks to a donation from the city’s Prostate Support Group.

Today a cheque for $8,000 was presented to the Cancer Council.

Support Group Vice President, Brian Pierce has been personally touched by the kindness and accessibility of the service’s volunteers.

“I’m still on chemotherapy for my prostate cancer and I get a lift from a volunteer from Inala House each time I go for therapy.”
