CRICKET NSW U17 STATE CHALLENGE

Country and metro have gone head-to-head at the Cricket New South Wales Under 17 State Challenge.

Day one of the three day selection trials bowling into play in Coffs Harbour today, as 56 players battled for a spot in the State squad.

The two metro teams taking on the country sides for the first games.

“There is a bit of competition but we’re all one team one dream at Cricket New South Wales, so it’s all about the kids. But certainly there is a bit of competition.”

Those chosen to represent the Blues will head to the national championships in Brisbane.
