A festival celebrating Aboriginal culture is set to become the next big tourist attraction in Byron Bay.
The one of a kind, “Boomerang” Festival was launched today at Bluesfest by creative director and indigenous Australian, Rhoda Roberts.
“It’s a celebration of world cultures, mother tongues and first instruments so we are looking at a great a lot of old music but also an experience – very much a cultural experience.”
The three day festival will spring to life this October at the Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm.
